Sew Easy Mac and Cheesy

  • 8 oz box elbow macaroni
  • 16 oz cottage cheese
  • 8 oz sour cream
  • 1 egg
  • pepper to taste
  • 2 Cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • paprika

Pre-heat the oven to 350*

Cook macaroni according to package directions.

In a large bowl, mix the cottage cheese, sour cream, egg, and pepper together.  Stir just until mixed.  Pour in the macaroni and the cheddar cheese.  Stir again until mixed.

Pour into an 8 X 8 inch baking dish.  Lightly sprinkle paprika on top for a pleasant appearance.

Bake in pre-heated oven for 45 minutes.  Let stand for 3-5 minutes before serving.

Add a salad and some garlic Texas toast to compliment your dish.

This recipe can easily be doubled or tripled with wonderful results.  When making larger portions use a large foil baking pan.
